What it does
On the Mac, Zonette lives in the menu bar as a small globe, or as the time in one or two cities you choose. Click it to see all your cities at once. On iPhone, iPad and Android, your cities, the map, the planner and your events each have a tab of their own.
- Your cities, now: each city's time, whether it is day or night there, and how far ahead or behind it is. Search 34,000 cities by name, in other spellings, or by country, and give them your own names, such as Mum or Head office.
- Type a time to convert it: type “3pm Tokyo”, “London 10:00” or “9am PST” in the search field to see that moment in each of your cities, ready to copy.
- Clock changes ahead: a city shows a note when its clocks go forward or back within the next seven days.
- Day and night on a world map, with a dot for each of your cities.
- A meeting planner: each city's day laid under yours, with working hours in green. Drag to a time and see it everywhere, find when everyone is at work, and copy the times to paste into an invitation.
- Your next events in every city's time, if you switch it on. Zonette only reads your calendar.
- In the Mac menu bar: up to two cities' times beside the globe, or instead of it.
- Widgets: on the Mac, the World Clock widget shows your first two cities in the small size, or up to four in the medium, with the time and whether it is day or night there. On iPhone and iPad there are small, medium and large widgets and Lock Screen widgets, and on Android small, medium and large ones, each showing the cities you pick for it.
Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later, iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 or later, or Android 8.0 or later. One purchase on the App Store covers the Mac, iPhone and iPad; the Android version is a separate purchase on Google Play.
Privacy in one paragraph
Zonette has no network access, no account and no tracking. The city list and the map come with the app. If you switch on events, it reads your calendar on your device and never sends anything anywhere. The full privacy policy says the same at more length.
