Poisette

What it does

AirPods Pro, AirPods (3rd generation or later), AirPods Max and Beats Fit Pro know the tilt of your head. Poisette learns how you look when you sit tall, and nudges you when your head has been dropped forward for too long. On the Mac it watches from the menu bar while you work. On iPhone and iPad it watches during a posture session of 25, 50 or 90 minutes, or an open one, with a calm focus sound that keeps it watching while the screen is locked.

• Learns you in three seconds. Sit tall and calibrate; slouch once more if you like, and it sets its own sensitivity.
• Smart, not nagging. A grace time, glances at the keyboard ignored, turning to talk ignored, and a pause between nudges.
• A nudge your way. On the Mac, a soft dim of the screen that lifts as you sit up, a chime, a notification, or just the icon. On iPhone and iPad, a chime, a gentle tap and a “Sit tall” note while Poisette is open, or a chime and a notification while it plays in the background.
• Quiet when it should be. Headphones out, a call, and on the Mac also when it is locked, during a full-screen video or outside your active hours.
• Your progress. Today's score, a streak, week and month charts, your best and worst hours, and widgets.
• Neck stretch breaks that your headphones follow move by move.

Privacy in one paragraph

Poisette has no network access, no account and no tracking. Your head's motion is used as it arrives and never stored; only the minutes you sat upright and slouched are kept, on your device. The full privacy policy says the same at more length.
