Usagette

Your usage limits, in the menu bar, with a sound as they rise.

Download on the Mac App Store

What it does

Usagette lives in the Mac menu bar and shows how much of your Claude usage limits you have used: the 5-hour session limit, the 7-day weekly limit and a live countdown to each reset. Turn the parts of the readout you want on or off, and open the panel for the whole picture.

Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later and Claude Code. Coming to the Mac App Store. Usage limits are shown by Claude Code for subscription plans that have them.

Free sound profiles

More sounds for Usagette, free to download. Each one rises through the five levels and has its own sounds for the limit and the reset.

To add one, open Usagette's Settings › Sound Profiles and choose Import…, or drop the downloaded file there. You can also unzip it and double-click the profile.

Privacy in one paragraph

Usagette has no network access, no account and no tracking, and nothing leaves your Mac. It reads one file that its status-line script writes, in the .claude folder you allow it to use. The full privacy policy says the same at more length.

More apps from the same maker

Small apps, each made to do one thing well. No accounts, no ads, and none of them tracks you.
