Pinette

What it does

Pinette is for the things you look up ten times a day: a door code, the Wi-Fi password, the parking spot, a number to call back, today's three things. It keeps them where you look: floating above every window on your Mac, and on your iPhone's Lock Screen, in StandBy and in widgets. One purchase covers Mac, iPhone and iPad; Pinette for Android is on Google Play.

• Above every window on the Mac. Pinned notes float over all your apps, in every Space and over full-screen apps, and never take the keyboard. Drag one anywhere, or drop it near a corner to snap it there.
• Click or tap a line to copy it. Codes, passwords, addresses.
• Secret notes. Never shown in widgets or on the Lock Screen; on the Mac, blurred until you point at them and kept out of screenshots and screen sharing.
• Notes that end on their own. For 2 hours, until tonight, until tomorrow at 9:00: the note unpins or deletes itself.
• Big and bold. A text size up to 56 points and nine papers, from cream, white and black to marigold, coral, rose, lilac, sky and mint.
• One step to a note. A quick-add shortcut on the Mac (⌃⌥⌘N), a Control Center control, Shortcuts actions, and Pin with Pinette in the share sheet.
• Moves anywhere. A note's QR code opens in Pinette on another phone; notes travel as a .pinette file by AirDrop or Files.

Privacy in one paragraph

Pinette has no servers of its own, no account, no tracking and no analytics, and the developer collects no data. Your notes stay on your devices and, on Mac, iPhone and iPad with Sync with iCloud on, in your own private iCloud, where only you can see them. The full privacy policy says the same at more length.
