Lunarette

Privacy policy

Last updated 1 October 2026.

The short version

Lunarette collects nothing, sends nothing and has no network access.

What is stored, and where

Inside the app's own storage on your device (on a Mac, its sandbox container): your settings and your reminders, with the names you give them. Deleting the app removes them.

Lunarette asks for permission to show notifications when you save your first reminder. The notifications are scheduled on your device and are not sent anywhere. On Android, Lunarette also sets its reminder alarms again after the device restarts.

On a Mac, the widget reads your tradition and your lunar-date setting from a small space the app shares with it on the same Mac (an App Group); on iPhone, iPad and Android, the widgets' settings also stay on the device. When you export festivals, Lunarette writes a calendar file that you save or share yourself; it asks for no access to your calendars and never reads or changes them.

Where it goes

Nowhere. Lunarette has no network access on any platform. On a Mac it has no network entitlement, and on Android no Internet permission, so the system itself will not let it open a connection; the iPhone and iPad app contains no networking code. The calendar is calculated on your device. There is no server, no analytics and no account.
