Privacy Policy

Overview

Foreman is a job-tracking app for tradespeople. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.

Data You Provide

Foreman stores the following data that you enter directly:

• Job details (title, client name, notes, status)
• Time entries associated with jobs
• Business information (name, phone, email, logo) entered in Settings
• Hourly rate and invoice preferences

This data is stored locally on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, synced privately to your iCloud account via CloudKit. It is never transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties.

iCloud Sync

If you use iCloud sync, your data is stored in your private iCloud container and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We cannot access your iCloud data.

Analytics & Crash Reporting

In production builds, Foreman uses:

• Firebase Analytics — collects anonymised usage events (e.g. "job created", "invoice generated") to help us understand how the app is used. No personally identifiable information is included in these events.
• Firebase Crashlytics — collects anonymised crash reports to help us identify and fix bugs. Crash reports may include device type, iOS version, and a stack trace.

Both services are provided by Google. You can review Google's data practices at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Subscriptions

Subscription purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. Purchase history is managed by Apple and subject to their privacy policy.

Data Retention & Deletion

All your data lives on your device (and optionally in your iCloud account). Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. To remove iCloud data, sign in to iCloud.com and delete the Foreman container, or reset iCloud sync from within the app.

Children's Privacy

Foreman is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
