Tockette

Privacy policy

Last updated 26 September 2026.

The short version

Tockette collects nothing, sends nothing and has no network access.

What is stored, and where

Inside the app's own sandbox container on your Mac: your timers, the names you give them, the ones you set recently, and your settings. Deleting the app removes them. Forget recent timers in Settings clears the recent ones at any time.

Tockette asks macOS for permission to show notifications, so a timer can reach you when the Mac is locked. The notifications are created on your Mac and are not sent anywhere.

It does not use the camera, the microphone, your location, your contacts, your calendar or your files, and it does not watch what you type anywhere but its own panel.

Where it goes

Nowhere. Tockette has no network entitlement, which means macOS itself will not let it open a network connection. There is no server, no analytics and no account.
