Common questions

Why did the sound stop by itself?

Either a call started (on the Mac, Hushette pauses while any app uses a microphone; on iPhone, iPad and Android, when a call interrupts it), the sleep timer ran out, or, on iPhone, iPad and Android, headphones were unplugged. Hushette says which. On the Mac and Android you can turn call pausing off in Settings.

What does "Tune to my room" do?

It listens through your microphone for five seconds, finds which pitches are loudest around you, and makes a noise, Room, shaped to cover them. Your system asks for microphone access the first time. The sound it hears is analysed on your device and thrown away at once.

How do presets and the schedule work?

A preset is a saved mix. With the schedule on, Hushette switches to the preset you chose for each part of the day while it is playing.

Does it use much battery?

Very little. The sounds are generated efficiently, and nothing runs while Hushette is paused.
